A Little Bit About Us
Once Again Furniture & Accessories opened for business in October, 2005. Amanda, founder & co-owner, felt the need for a quality consignment furniture outlet.
Having worked in the real estate industry, Amanda heard over and over from her clients their frustration in both parting with perfectly good used furniture and in having to spend so much money to purchase new furniture more suitable to their changing needs or tastes.
Knowing the high prices for brand new, brand name furniture and having experienced for herself the same frustrations her previous clients described, Amanda decided one day she was going to start her very own business connecting both buyers and sellers to give new life to gently used furniture.
She asked her mom, Lois, what she thought of the idea and she was ecstatic! She knew immediately it was something the Quad-Cities needed and decided to partner with her daughter to make it a reality.
Once Again Furniture & Accessories has attracted buyers from as far away as Chicago and has developed quite a loyal and repeat client base. When asked how often her regular clients come in, Amanda said "I have several customers that come by at least once a week during their lunch hours just to see what is new."

Amanda Keppy, Co-Owner
Amanda graduated from Iowa State University in 1991 with a bachelors degree in Marketing and Fashion Design. Now after years of hands-on retail, marketing and real estate experience, Amanda founded Once Again Furniture & Accessories. She saw the need for a local company that could assist homeowners in selling their "like new" used furniture and accessories. Knowing that there were also buyers out there looking for great value, she was certain she could match these sellers and buyers through a consignment business. Amanda has always envisioned herself as an entrepreneur and in 2005, decided to leave her job and start-up Once Again Furniture & Accessories.

Lois Keppy, Co-Owner
Lois brings over 25 years of practical small business ownership experience to Once Again Furniture & Accessories. Lois has an eye for color, style and fashion which is demonstrated in her ability to coordinate fabrics and patterns as well as unique design queues into a beautiful room setting with just the right accessories. When Amanda came to her with the idea for the business, she rolled her sleeves up and went to work. When asked what she likes most about the business, she said "Being able to partner with my daughter in doing something we both enjoy so much is the most rewarding part."

Nancy has an extensive background in interior decorating and had her own interior decorating business for several years. She now works for Once Again Furniture & Accessories mostly because she enjoys the business and was interested in earning a little extra "fun money."
